I obtained my undergraduate education at Gustavus Adolphus College in St Peter, MN, where I majored in Religion and minored in Biology.
I attended medical school at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and completed my Emergency Medicine Residency at Wake Forest University/North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.
My past hospital affiliations include Presbyterian Hospital where I was a partner in Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates, former Chief of Emergency Services, and also served for several years as Director of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Unit. There I worked with many of the patients afflicted by chronic non-healing wounds, and developed an interest in wound management and healing that I am now excited to bring to those patients with chronic wounds related to vein disease.
I was also affiliated with Davis Medical Center in Statesville, NC, and spent nearly 15 years on the staff at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center and I am very happy to be back in the area providing care to the people of this community.
